Functional Ear Model

This model shows how the tympanic membrane, ossicle, the complex internal ear with the
cochlea and the oscillations of the basilar hearing membrane operate/interact. The enclosed mirror
enables operation of the model for the studying of various ear-func-tions from different angles at
the same time. One single model maybe studied by several students simultaneously in an action-
oriented learning situation.
