An easy-to-assemble DNA model, this stunning recreation consists of specially-shaped, brilliantly-colored plastic pieces. Each base in the 12 base pair model is a subtly diflerent shape, and the sugars are made from a slightly difference plastic so the model helix correctly to creat a realistic double helix.
You can deconstruct the double helix into two separate strands by moving the cen-tral supporting spine and pulling the helix apart along the hydrogen bonds.
